At Evolve Recovery Center, we welcome your questions, and we are eager to help you take that crucial first step in regaining control of your life. From admissions and treatment options to financial considerations and the structure of daily life at the Center, here are answers to questions we get every day from those seeking help for themselves or their loved ones.

What programs do you offer?

Our mission is to help people achieve long-term sobriety and find purpose and happiness in daily life by successfully completing our residential program. We offer an inpatient, on-site drug and alcohol rehabilitation program that consists of individualized treatment plans; individual, family, and group therapy; counseling; and aftercare planning.

What is your confidentiality policy?
Your privacy is important to us. In conformity with federal law and regulations, we protect the confidentiality of alcohol and drug abuse patient records. In general, we will not disclose to anyone outside the program that a patient is attending the program, and we will not disclose any information identifying you as an alcohol or drug abuser unless we have your consent in writing.

During the admission process, we will provide you with a copy of our confidentiality policy.

I don't have a ride. Do you offer transportation?
Yes. If you don’t have a family member or friend who can make the trip, we would be happy to arrange transportation to our location. It’s important to us that you are safe! Just let your admissions coordinator know that you need transportation and we’ll make those arrangements immediately.
What happens during my admission to the Center?
Honesty is crucial during this phase. We will complete a comprehensive medical evaluation of you and review your medical history so that we can provide care that is tailored to your individual needs. By opening a direct and respectful dialogue with you, we begin to build a relationship of mutual trust that helps you get on the road to recovery.
Can I bring my cell phone?
Yes, you are certainly allowed to bring your mobile phone with you. You won’t be able to carry it on you in the facility. But you can gain easy access to it by speaking with a staff member or counselor so that you can check voicemail and text messages or return important calls.

While you’re with us, you will also have access to a telephone dedicated to residents located in the community lounge area for speaking with family or friends.

Can I bring my razor, hair dryer, or straightener?
Yes, you can. To protect everyone’s safety, the staff will hold onto any razor for either men or women. When you need to use it, simply ask the resident manager to sign it out to you. Then return it when you’re done. Hair dryers and straighteners can be kept in your room.
Can I bring my service dog or another animal that provides emotional support?
We understand the importance of these animals, and we accommodate those who need service or support animals as they go through treatment. If you do plan to bring an animal with you, please let our admissions staff know before you are admitted. You will need to present the signed and authorized certification for each animal at the time you are admitted.
Am I allowed to vape or smoke cigarettes?
Smoking is allowed in designated outdoor areas. We also offer nicotine replacement therapy, which is available upon request. This therapy includes the nicotine patch or Nicorette Gum.

Vaping with approved devices is also allowed in outdoor areas. At this time, we approve JUUL devices and pods that are unopened at the time of your admission. Unopened E-cigarettes are also allowed.

What kind of medications will I receive?
All medical protocols are tailored to the individual. Upon admission, the medical staff will give you a full medical assessment, and they will determine your specific protocol at that time.

We help you discover how to have healthy fun again and help you understand the value of nutrition and physical fitness — not only in achieving recovery but also in setting and achieving goals.

What amenities are available at your facilities?
We provide live-in accommodations with amenities that include a gym, personal chefs, game rooms, a TV room, courtyards, and areas for patients to participate in yoga and other healthy activities. We also provide 24/7 transportation from home or transportation from local airports for guests arriving to be admitted.
Will I have a roommate?
Most of our rooms are semi-private. This means that you share a room with a maximum of one other person. We do our best to match people who will be supportive of one another. If you have any problems with a roommate (loud snoring, messiness, etc.) just let us know and we will make a room change.
Are private rooms available?
Yes. Please speak to our admissions office about private room rates and additional amenities.
What about meals? Are they prepared for us or do we cook for ourselves?
Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are prepared 7 days a week by our in-house, professional kitchen staff. Each day the menu varies. If you have special dietary needs or allergies, let us know. We are prepared to accommodate these requests. In addition, snacks, coffee, juices, and water are readily available.
What does a typical day look like while I'm in treatment?
We start each day with morning meditation, goal setting, and a brief check-in with each guest. Our goal is to encourage a healthy and positive routine that focuses on the day. Treatment programs — including both individual and group therapy sessions — begin at 9 a.m. and wrap up around 3:30 p.m. Gym, dinner and various 12-step meetings take place in the evening. We also have an end-of-day meeting with residents before bedtime to discuss each guest’s day and set the tone for the following day.
Do you have a gym?
We do! At Evolve Recovery Center, we believe that physical activity in low intensity and high intensity intervals is crucial in helping the brain and body to heal and become stronger. Most of the people we treat for addiction have not made regular physical activity a part of their daily routine. We believe that developing healthy exercise habits will significantly support recovery.

The on-site gym is available for guests to use each day of the week.

Are there opportunities for outdoor or recreational activities?
Yes. Research suggests that regular exercise can help conquer addiction by easing withdrawal symptoms and reducing anxiety and depression. Recreational activities also have many physical, psychological, and social benefits. So we incorporate both on-site and off-site activities into your daily routine. Regular outings can also facilitate your return to the community, and these will include attendance of 12-step meetings off-site.
